Frankfurt, 6 a.m.

Frankfurt Airport, 6 a.m.

Waking slow to cell and sensibility,
No tender moment recognized
Without intention.

Not my demand-no intervention
Of the ordinary mind can serve,
Such service being privilege, not owned.

These intimate encounters
With hallways, kiosk lights, and advertisements
Arrive becradled in the hands of God.

Time lies forgotten-
Has no power of decay-
Where offering begins, within this day.
